WebJul 30, 2004 · I have only encountered one problem, and it may (i.e. probably) was due to misassembly. One of the cable pulley fasteners backed out causing a pulley bearing to fail. It sounds like it may have a free lift cylinder, meaning a center cylinder that lifts the carriage before a second set of cylinder raises the rest of the mast. These are generally the easiest to repair in my experience. Some more info/pics would help with guidance. Then you have to use a drift pin to push the end gland into the cylinder exposing the retaining wire. Using a couple of flat end screw drivers I pried out the wire.
