WebDatex was one of multiple sub-brands of the Datum Watch Factory (Switzerland) which one source I found referred to as a micro brand that was started in the early 40's. It seems unknown how long they were producing watches for (someone else around these parts may know) but it's unlikely they survived the quartz crisis in the 70's.
