WebDwellings of Eldervale probably has more replayability with all the different factions and monsters and the way the tiles can play out, but I enjoyed the game of Arnak more. It feels more cohesive as a game, whereas Eldervale was fun but felt a bit scattered, like disconnected mechanisms and weird scoring. WebSo I’ve been watching Dwellings of Eldervale on KS for the past week, and yesterday I watched the designer, Luke Laurie, and producer, Peter Vaughn, play a solo game and a 1 v 1 game. All I can say is WoW! I was so impressed with how deep and exciting every move was with this game. This game checks so many boxes for me: Worker placement.
