WebStopped using my logitech g502 (proteus, the older one) because the scroll wheel was unresponsive 80% of the time. It lasted me years. Went with razer, not due to popularity but because the basilisk v3 is nearly identical to the 502. Wish it was heavier. WD-40 would not be a good idea. It is probably lint and fibers collecting on the wheel's axel. Most mice are easy to disassemble, there may be covers over the screws on the bottom of the mouse.
