Discussion Starter · #8 · Jan 13, 2013. i think i got it! it seems one of the pins on the relay wasnt making good contact in the fuse block on the side with three. i found this when i wiggled the relay around and the low beams came on. Since the low beams failed at separate times and the high beams are still working, it is less likely you have an electrical fault, and more likely the bulbs failed because they were from the same production line, same usage stats, etc.

OK, so put the two headlamp fuses back in ( F20 and F21 ) then remove the low beam relay and one at a time jumper each of the two side connectors of the relay socket to ground. One of the two should cause the low beams to come on. My guess is the passenger side one grounded should be the one try that first.
